We did it! We tamed the kitty :). Well, she (I THINK it is a she) is still skittish... but if we are patient enough, she eventually comes up to us and lets us pick her up. Then she purrs like a motorboat :).
I have to give most of the credit to Miss Ashley...she's already an animal whisperer at age 2!
She followed my lead when I opened the sliding glass door and just held my fingers out for the kitty to sniff, keeping very still. Her only complaint was that her fingers were cold, so we put on her mittens :)
How many toddlers do you know with that kind of patience?!
And it paid off. She's pretty proud and so am I :)
Now... we just need to think of a name! Ideas, anyone?
