I thought I had been battling a bad case of poison ivy - until a week later when my rash was not improving and Ashley developed one, too. I took us both to the doctor, and it turns out we have "Fifth's Disease"... which is not as scary as it sounds, but no fun nonetheless. We both have rashes on both arms, poor Ashley has it on her legs, too; and she has the classic symptom "slapped cheeks" (really red cheeks). It itches like crazy and also causes joint pain. Adults don't usually get it - I must have never been exposed. It doesn't look like Jeremy is going to- lucky for him!
