Too Busy (and too sick!) to Blog Lately

Our family has been busy with weddings, trips to the lake, and, unfortunately - trips to the hospital.  Ashley finally recovered from her Fifth's Disease - only to come down with croup!  She had such difficulty breathing that she was in the hospital Tuesday night, all of Wednesday, and 5 hours on Friday. She is doing better now, but still has a barky cough.  And she turned 3 on Monday!
Here's a random collection of pictures - some that have been in my camera for over a month!
The birthday girl with her monkey cupcakes for preschool.
She is going to be a monkey for Halloween, and has a monkey "surprise" coming to her birthday party!
We went to the lake again in early October, and, like last time - Ashley caught the first fish, the biggest fish, and the most fish!
Ashley and Daddy with her 2nd 11-inch crappie!
They can't ALL be keepers ;-)
Priceless.
Grandma Missy and Grandma Dixie, I think you'll like the next one.
(Bring back memories?!)
Waking up at the lake and doing "flashcards" (from a poker deck!) with her babies (and the fish.)
One evening at home, Jeremy and I spotted her doing this:
She lined up her stuffed animals to make a "choo-choo" train!
She is doing "chuga-chuga...chuga-chuga...choo-choo!" with her arms.
Ashley with her cousins Emma and Abby at Gran and Grandpa's "pumpkin patch":
Speaking of Gran and Grandpa, they took us to see "Noah" the musical in Branson.
This was the only picture I was allowed to take, as they asked us not to use cameras during the show.
It was amazing!
Lots of dance class pictures:
This was their first time in tap shoes!
I think that the girl (in black) next to Ashley has her leotard on backwards :-)
Tumbling night:
The girls with one of their teachers, Miss Robin.
Ballet...with Calvin :-)
Costume night :-) - "Freestyle"
